We had an awesome time relaxing on the beach with complimentary chairs and enjoyed the cozy little coffee setup in our room. Overall, it’s a cool spot to stay, just be sure to ask for a quiet room! ☀️

fantastic access to the pier and promenade highlights

I stayed here recently, and it was a breeze to get to the Santa Monica Pier and the end of the 3rd Street Promenade. the staff was incredibly attentive and made our arrival at midnight feel welcoming despite our late check-in, even accommodating our needs as parents traveling with a baby.

The standard king room was clean and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, just steps from the pier and shopping areas. Staff were accommodating, and the water refill stations added a nice touch. However, the noise from nearby restaurants was disruptive at night, and there was limited dining options on-site.

the location is super close to the pier, had a great time! the staff were friendly and helped make us comfy. our room was nice and clean with a cool design. loved the new bathroom products they had, really good quality! overall a nice stay with great vibes.

but parking was way too pricey and we were bummed there were no breakfast options.

great location but some minor inconveniences

The location of the hotel is superb, providing stunning views of the Santa Monica Pier. The spacious Superior Queen Room with Two Queen Beds allowed us to comfortably manage our luggage over our three-night stay.

The sensor lights in the bathroom would turn off during showers, which was quite inconvenient.

The room was gorgeous, boasting a fantastic walk-in shower and super comfy bedding. I loved the complimentary water bottle, a nice personal touch! I'd definitely stay here again!

we loved our stay at pierside! the rooms are comfortably modern, and the location is perfect for visiting nearby attractions. the staff were very accommodating, and we appreciated the filtered water they offered. being just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants made our trip even better. the bike center around the corner was also a big plus.

I enjoyed the prime location of Pierside, just a short walk to the beach and the Santa Monica Pier. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. My room was spacious and modern, really comfortable for relaxing after a day out. I loved the accessibility of filtered water, it made staying hydrated easy. However, the valet parking fee felt quite steep at $65 per day. WiFi was spotty at times, which was annoying. The pool was also closed during my stay, which was a letdown as I was looking forward to a swim. Overall, the location and comfort made it enjoyable, but the high parking fees and limited amenities didn’t quite sit well with me.

We loved the location near the Pier! The restaurant was a hit too—great food and a cozy atmosphere. The staff even made us feel welcome with their excellent service!

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities right in the hotel. A pool would have been great for evenings after our adventures.

The local eats around Pierside are a treasure trove! True Food Kitchen’s spare ribs had me swooning, while Del Frisco's Grille served up mouthwatering delights that made my taste buds dance. Plus, the beach items available for guests were a lovely touch for a day by the waves.

But hold up— parking felt like a bite out of my wallet and the pool was MIA during my stay! I was looking forward to a refreshing dip, only to find everything in the hotel geared down. And to top it off, the valet situation was a bit of a mess when it came to retrieving my car.

Fantastic location and experience, but renovations ongoing

We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the modern room and excellent location just steps from the Santa Monica Pier. The staff was accommodating and friendly, making our experience memorable. We particularly loved the complimentary beach gear for a fun day by the ocean! However, the ongoing renovations meant the pool was unavailable during our visit, which was a bit disappointing.

Awesome location! Loved the beach chair rentals and easy access to the pier. The room was super comfy and clean!
